Hayes, head coach, began swimming competitively in 1990 and earned three varsity letters while a member of his high school swim team. Hayes' parlayed his swimming background into Triathlon in 2006. In 2008 the hard work began paying dividends with several age group podiums. A two time Ironman Finisher, Hayes' 2010 training will be focused on a Clearwater qualification attempt at the Branson 70.3 in September.
